‘Steeltown’ was Big Country's second studio album, recorded at ABBA’s Polar Studios in Stockholm and produced by Steve Lillywhite. Released in October 1984, it topped the UK album charts. Amid the nationwide Miners Strike, Bruce Watson recalls, “We started work in June 1984 at Abba’s studio. My Dad was a miner, so we knuckled down to hard work for six weeks.” Big Country will perform songs from ‘Steeltown’ and classic hits like ‘Fields of Fire,’ ‘In A Big Country,’ and ‘Chance.’

Mike Peters, frontman of The Alarm and founder of the Love Hope Strength Foundation, will also perform. Known for his acoustic work, Mike has shared stages with legends like Bob Dylan and Bono and performed at Mt. Everest and Kilimanjaro summits.
