Walsall Arena & Arts Centre is now closed until further notice.

We are following the Government’s advice and guidance regarding Coronavirus. As part of Walsall Council we continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the Government’s recommendations regarding public buildings and events.

It is unfortunate that some events have been cancelled. However, some have now been re-scheduled for later in the year and we hope you will be able to join us for the new show dates. These are now showing on our What’s On page. We will also be updating our social media with any new information as soon as we get it.

Ticket refunds/transfers will be processed when the Centre is re-opened.

Major Irish band The Kilkennys are to make their first ever concert appearance in Walsall as part of their UK tour this June that sees them perform at over 10 top venues.

Renowned for their musicianship and vocal abilities, The Kilkennys have gained a reputation for revitalising traditional Irish music and adding their own touch of passion and energy. They are often described as a younger version of legendary Irish folk group, The Dubliners.

Formed at a very young age, The Kilkennys have toured all over Ireland and have taken their music as far afield as Las Vegas, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Abu Dhabi and the Czech Republic. The band have almost three million YouTube hits and a packed schedule of shows for 2020 all over the world. 

Davey Cashin, Rob Campion, Tommy Mackey and Davey Long are excited about bringing their brand of traditional Irish music to a Walsall audience. Hear all the traditional Irish songs, famous the world over, including: “The Galway Girl”, “Hills Of Donegal”, “The Irish Rover”, “Go Lassie Go”, “Rocky Road To Dublin”, “Belfast Mill” and “Blowin In The Wind”.
